I’m cyclopentane, or Vanessa/Alex in real life. I’m a theoretical physics student from Heidelberg, Europe, but also do computer science stuff as a hobby.

I built this website with a simple bash script running
pandoc and envsubst from gettext
inside a Nix derivation. Previously, I experimented with larger static
site generators like Hugo or Jekyll, but I found them way too complex
for the simple task of converting Markdown to HTML and inserting it into
an HTML template.
