Thoughts on Javascript

• I hate Javascript
• Javascript is an ugly language
• This site will never use any Javascript, neither in the frontend or in the backend (looking at you, MathJax)
• On most websites, Javascript is just bloat
• Javascript is mainly used to spy on users nowadays
• I try to keep Javascript out of my dependency graphs as much as possible
• Who the hell thought it was a good idea to use Javascript for anything else than web development?
